Eligibility Criteria of Assam ST Scholarship These scholarships are available for students studying within India and are awarded by the Government of the State/Union Territory where the applicant permanently resides. The specific eligibility criteria are as follows:   Pre-Matric Scholarship (Class IX & X) -        - pplicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community and be a permanent resident of Assam. -        - The student must be enrolled in a Government school or a school recognized by the Government or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education. -        - The annual income of the student's parents/guardian from all sources must not exceed ₹2,50,000/-.   Post-Matric Scholarship (Class XI Onwards) -       - Applicant must be a member of the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community and a permanent resident of Assam. -        - Must have successfully passed the Matriculation or Higher Secondary or any higher examination from a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education. -        - The student must be pursuing post-matriculation courses in recognized institutions. -        - The annual income of the parents/guardian must not be more than ₹2,50,000/-.

How to Apply for ST Scholarship? Eligible candidates must submit their applications through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Follow the steps below to complete your application: Scroll down to the "Important Web Links" section on this page. Click on the "Online Application Form" link. A new page on the National Scholarship Portal will open. If you are a new user, click on the "New Registration" link to register yourself. Enter your details as required in the registration form. After registration, log in using your credentials and fill out the scholarship application form carefully. Upload all required documents as specified in the portal. Finally, click on "Submit" and take a printout of your submitted application for future reference.
