Comprehensive Vacancy Distribution
(State & Category-Wise) |
The recruitment has allocated 2,700 apprentice positions
across various states, union territories, and reservation categories.
State-Wise
Vacancy List 2025
For applicants from Assam, a total of 21
Apprentice seats are available.
The distribution of vacancies is not uniform across the
country. States like Karnataka (440) and Gujarat (400) have the highest
allocation, accounting for over 31% of all available positions. Candidates must
select their preferred districts during the application process. The
application form requires candidates to provide three district preferences. The
candidate's home district, as per their Aadhaar, will be considered the first
preference. If no training seat is available in the home district, the second
and third preferences will be considered. Applicants from states with low
vacancy numbers (e.g., Assam, Manipur, Jammu & Kashmir) should be strategic
with their second and third preferences, potentially selecting districts in
neighboring high-vacancy states if they are willing to relocate for the
12-month training.
