Big update for SSC aspirants! The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Tier-I Examination, 2025. Candidates who successfully registered for the recruitment drive can now download their hall tickets from their respective regional SSC websites.

 

The Tier-I exam is scheduled to be held in the coming weeks, and this admit card is your mandatory ticket to the examination hall.

Selection Process

 

The SSC CHSL 2025 selection process consists of two main stages:

  1. Tier-I (Computer-Based Test): This is an objective-type multiple-choice exam. It includes sections on:
    • General Intelligence
    • General Awareness
    • Quantitative Aptitude
    • English Language
    • Note: There is negative marking (0.50 marks) for each wrong answer in Tier-I.
  2. Tier-II (Computer-Based Test): This includes a Skill Test/Typing Test, which is qualifying in nature.

 

 

How to Download SSC CHSL Tier-I Admit Card 2025

 

The process to download your admit card is simple, but you must visit your regional SSC website.

  1. Go to the official SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in/
  2. Click on the "Admit Card" tab in the main navigation bar.
  3. You will see a list of all SSC Regional Websites (e.g., Northern Region, Central Region, Western Region, etc.). Click on the link for your region.
  4. On the regional website's homepage, find the link that says "Download e-Admit Card for CHSL (10+2) Examination, 2025."
  5. You will be given three options to log in:
    • Option 1: Using your Registration ID and Date of Birth.
    • Option 2 (if you forgot): Using your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
    • Option 3 (if you forgot everything): Using your Name, Father's Name, and Date of Birth.
  6. Enter the required details and click "Search."
  7. Your admit card will appear on the screen. Download it, save a copy, and take a clear printout.

Q1: What should I do if I forget my Registration ID?

A: You can still download your admit card. On the login page, use the third option: enter your full name, your father's full name, and your date of birth.

Q2: What documents do I need to carry to the exam hall?

A: You must carry:

  1. A clear printout of your downloaded Admit Card.
  2. An original, valid Photo ID Proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License).
  3. Two recent passport-size photographs (same as the one on your application).

Q3: When is the SSC CHSL Tier-I exam?

A: The exam is tentatively scheduled to be held from November 2025. Your exact exam date, time, and shift will be mentioned on your admit card.

Q4: My name is spelled incorrectly on the admit card. What should I do?

A: You should immediately contact your respective SSC Regional Office to get it corrected. Carry your original ID proof to the exam, and the exam center staff will make a note of it.

Q5: Is there a negative marking in the Tier-I exam?
