Note: The vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease at any stage of the recruitment process. "Water Sports" includes Kayaking, Canoeing, and Rowing.

 

✅ Eligibility Criteria

 

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the following criteria as per the official notification.

1. Educational Qualification

  • Matriculation (10th Class Pass) from a recognized Board/University.

2. Sports Qualification

Candidates must have participated or won medals in the following levels between 15/01/2024 to 15/01/2026:

  • Individual Events: Medals in National Games, Senior National Championships, or participation in International tournaments.
  • Team Events: Medals in National/International tournaments representing State/UT/University.

3. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 23 Years
  • (Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules.)

4. Physical Standards (PST)

  • Height:
    • Male: 170 cms (Relaxation for ST and Hill areas availale)
    • Female: 157 cms
  • Chest (Male only): 80 cms (Unexpanded) with 5 cms expansion.
  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age.

  • General / OBC / EWS (Male): ₹ 159/- (approx)
  • SC / ST / Female Candidates: No Fee (Exempted)

The selection for BSF Constable (GD) Sports Quota will not involve a written exam. Instead, it will follow these stages:

  3. Physical Standard Test (PST) - Checking Height, Chest, and Weight.
