The recruitment is divided into three major wings.
Candidates must check the specific educational qualification for the wing they
wish to apply for.
1.
Indian Army Agniveer Eligibility
- Agniveer
(General Duty - All Arms & Women Military Police):
- Qualification:
Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in
each subject.
- Note:
For boards following the grading system, a minimum of 'D' Grade (33-40)
in individual subjects and an overall aggregate of 'C2' grade is
required.
- Agniveer
(Technical - All Arms):
- Qualification:
10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry,
Maths, and English with min 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject.
- OR:
10th Matric pass with 50% aggregate and min 40% in English, Maths, and
Science PLUS 2 years of Technical Training from ITI or Diploma.
- Agniveer
(Clerk / Store Keeper Technical):
- Qualification:
10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science)
with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% in each subject.
- Mandatory:
Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping is mandatory.
- Agniveer
Tradesman (10th Pass):
- Qualification:
Simple Class 10th pass. No aggregate percentage is required, but must
have scored 33% in each subject.
- Agniveer
Tradesman (8th Pass):
- Qualification:
Simple Class 8th pass. No aggregate percentage is required, but must have
scored 33% in each subject.

Indian Navy Agniveer Eligibility
- Agniveer
(Senior Secondary Recruit - SSR):
- Qualification:
Qualified in 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized Board.
- Agniveer
(Matric Recruit - MR / Musician):
- Qualification:
Passed Matriculation/10th or equivalent with minimum pass marks.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Eligibility
- Agniveervayu
(Science Subjects):
- Qualification:
10+2 Intermediate with Maths, Physics, and English with 50% marks in
aggregate and 50% in English.
- OR:
3-Year Diploma in Engineering
(Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Auto/Computer Science/IT) with 50%
aggregate.
- Agniveervayu
(Other than Science Subjects):
- Qualification:
10+2 Intermediate in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and 50%
in English.

The recruitment process for Agniveers in 2026 will be
conducted in three major phases:
Phase I: Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE)
- Computer-Based
Test (CBT) conducted at allocated exam centers.
