NMMS Assam Scholarship 2025: The Directorate of
Secondary Education, Assam, has officially released the admit cards for the National
Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination 2025-26. Students who
successfully submitted their applications can now download their hall tickets.
This scholarship scheme is designed to provide financial
assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections to arrest
their dropout at class VIII and encourage them to continue their study at the
secondary stage. Selected students will receive ₹12,000 per annum from
Class IX to XII.

Eligibility Criteria |
To be eligible for the NMMS Scholarship, candidates must
fulfill the following conditions as per the official notification:
- Class:
The student must be studying in Class VIII for the current academic
session.
- School
Type: Only students studying in Government, Government-aided, and
Local Body schools are eligible.
- Note:
Students from Private Schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV),
Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV), and Sainik Schools can appear for the exam but
are NOT eligible for the scholarship.
- Parental
Income: The annual family income of the parents from all sources
should not exceed ₹ 3,50,000/-.
- Marks:
The student must have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST
students) in the Class VII Final Examination.

same day.

I: Mental Ability Test (MAT)

Reasoning, critical thinking, analogy, classification, etc.
- Paper
II: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
- Marks:
90
- Duration:
90 Minutes
- Topics:
Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics (Class VII & VIII level).
- Qualifying
Marks: To pass, students must score at least 40% in aggregate
(32% for SC/ST/PWD categories).

How to Download NMMS Assam Admit Card

Candidates can download their e-Admit Card by following
these steps:
- Visit
the Official Website: Go to the official portal: bidyarthi.co.in or the
Directorate of Secondary Education website madhyamik.assam.gov.in.
You can also use the 'Bidyarthi' mobile app.
- Locate
the Admit Card Link: Look for the link labeled "NMMS Examination 2025
Admit Card" or "Download E-Admit Card" on the homepage.
- Enter
Login Credentials: You will be redirected to a login page. Enter the
following details:
- Application
Number (or User Name)
- Password
- Submit
Details: Click on the "Login" or "Submit" button.
- Download
& Print: Your admit card will appear on the screen. Check all the
details carefully (Name, Roll No, Exam Center). Download the PDF and take
a printout to carry to the examination hall.
