Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Maharatna and Fortune Global 500 company, invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for the engagement of 537 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, across its Pipelines Division. This initiative is part of IOCL’s commitment to skill development and nation-building. Interested candidates can apply for various technical and non-technical trades in different regions of India.

Age Limit: 18–24 years as of 31 August 2025 (age relaxation applicable for reserved categories)
Eligible Trades and Qualifications: |
Technician Apprentice (Mechanical)
= Full-time Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
Technician Apprentice (Electrical)
= Full-time Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation)
= Full-time Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation/Telecommunication Engineering
Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource)
= Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
Trade Apprentice (Accountant)
= Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce
Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices)
= Minimum 12th pass (but below graduate)
Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)
= 12th pass + Skill Certificate in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’

Eastern Region (ERPL): 156 seats (Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, UP, West Bengal)
Western Region (WRPL): 152 seats (Gujarat, MP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan)
Northern Region (NRPL): 97 seats (Delhi, Haryana, HP, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP, Uttarakhand)
Southern Region (SRPL): 47 seats (Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu)
South Eastern Region (SERPL): 85 seats (AP, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana)
Reservation & Relaxations |
Reservations apply for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwBD candidates as per Govt. norms.
Age relaxation
= SC/ST: 5 years
= OBC (NCL): 3 years
= PwBD: 10 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC PwBD candidates)
= Minimum qualifying marks relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Selection Process: |
No written test or interview.
Selection based on merit (percentage of marks in qualifying examination).
In case of a tie, older candidates (earlier date of birth) will be preferred.
Candidates must be medically fit as per IOCL standards.

Keep scanned photo (20–50 KB) and signature (10–30 KB) ready.
Complete application by 18 September 2025, 11:59 PM IST.

Matriculation certificate (for DOB)
Educational mark sheets and certificates
Caste/Disability/EWS certificate (if applicable)
Aadhaar, PAN, bank passbook, cancelled cheque
Medical fitness certificate
Important Notes |
Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier.
Those with more than one year of work experience after qualification are not eligible.
Higher qualifications like BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, etc., are not eligible.
Only one application per candidate is allowed.
No job guarantee after apprenticeship.
