Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a 3-year Diploma in the respective branch of Engineering from any institute recognised by AICTE.
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical)

Other Criteria of PHED Recruitment
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age. Category-wise age relaxation is as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Resident-ship
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and must produce a PRC or a valid Employment Exchange Registration certificate of Assam.
