🎓Minimum Educational Qualification
The required
minimum qualification for these posts is Diploma in Engineering (3 years) or a Bachelor’s Degree in the
relevant discipline. For CMA posts, B.Sc. with Physics and Chemistry is
required.

🩺Medical Standards
Medical
standards vary from A3 (strictest) for posts like JE/TRD and JE/Signal
to B1 and C1 for others. Candidates must meet the specific
medical standard for the post they opt for.
- A3 Standard: Requires high visual acuity
(6/9, 6/9) and perfect color/night vision. Candidates who have
undergone LASIK surgery are NOT eligible for A3 posts.
- B1 & C1 Standards: Have more relaxed vision
requirements, and candidates with certain corrective eye surgeries may be
eligible under specific Railway Board conditions.

- 1st Stage Computer Based Test
(CBT-I):
Screening nature. Common syllabus for all posts.
- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test
(CBT-II): Merit
determining stage. Includes Technical Abilities (100 Marks).
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisting 1:1 against
vacancies based on CBT-II merit.
- Medical Examination (ME): Final clearance for physical
fitness as per the post's medical standard.

have negative marking (1/3rd mark deduction). Selection for CBT-II is based on
