Eligibility Criteria |
1. Education
- Must
be a Graduate from a recognized university.
2. Service Experience
Candidates must be serving employees with at least 5
years of continuous service in one of the following roles:
- Assam
Accounts Service: Accounts Officer / Deputy Accounts Officer.
- Assam
Local Fund Audit Service: Audit Officer.
- Assam
Treasury Service: Superintendent / Accountant / Senior Accounts
Assistant.
- (Note:
Service as Chief Treasury Accountant or Senior Treasury Accountant is
counted).
3. Age Limit
- Maximum
Age: 50 Years (as of 01.01.2025).

Selection Process |
The selection for AFS Junior Grade-II will be based on a Departmental
Examination conducted by the APSC. The process generally consists of:
- Written
Examination: A descriptive/objective type exam testing professional
knowledge.
- Viva-Voce
/ Interview: Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called
for an interview to assess their suitability for the officer-level post.
