Introduction The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has
officially started the online registration for the SSC GD Constable
Recruitment 2026. With 25,487 vacancies on the line, it is crucial to fill
out the form correctly. Note: The SSC has moved to a new website (ssc.gov.in).
Your old registration number from ssc.nic.in will NOT work. You must
register afresh.

Important Prerequisites (Keep These Ready)
Before you start, ensure you have the following:
- Aadhaar
Card (for instant verification).
- Matriculation
(10th) Marksheet (for Roll No. and Year of Passing).
- Scanned
Signature: JPEG format, size between 10 KB to 20 KB.
Dimensions: approx 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).
- Active
Mobile No. & Email ID (for OTP verification).
- Webcam/Smartphone:

Part A: One-Time Registration (OTR)
If you have already registered on the new ssc.gov.in site
for a previous exam (like CGL/MTS 2024), skip to Part B.
- Visit
the Official Website: Go to https://ssc.gov.in.
- Click
on 'Login or Register': Select "Register Now".
- Personal
Details: Enter your Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s
Name, and Date of Birth exactly as they appear in your 10th Class
Certificate.
- Matriculation
Details: Enter your Board Name, Roll Number, and Year of Passing.
- Contact
Verification: Enter your Mobile Number and Email ID. You will receive
separate OTPs on both. Verify them.
- Registration
ID: Once verified, you will receive a Registration Number and Password
on your mobile/email.
- Login
& Password Change: Login with these credentials and immediately
change your password to something secure.
- Additional
Details: Fill in your Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR), Nationality, and
Address.
Part
B: Filling the Online Application Form
- Login:
Go to ssc.gov.in and log
in with your Registration Number and new Password.
- Select
Exam: Under "Live Examinations", find "Constable
(GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs)... Examination, 2026"
and click "Apply".
- Auto-Filled
Data: Your basic details (Name, Age, etc.) will be auto-filled from
your OTR.
- Ex-Servicemen
& Age Relaxation:

"Yes" if you are an Ex-Serviceman (ESM).

- NCC
Certificate: If you hold an NCC 'A', 'B', or 'C' certificate, select

- State
of Domicile: Select your permanent State and District carefully. Warning:

Find a plain background with good lighting. Look straight at the camera.
Do not wear a cap, mask, or spectacles.
- Signature:
Upload your scanned signature (JPEG, 10-20 KB). Ensure it is not blurred.

The fee must be paid online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or
Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay Cards.
