National Highways & Infrastructure Development
Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), a fully owned company of the Ministry of Road
Transport & Highways, Government of India, has released a recruitment
notification for experienced professionals. The corporation is inviting
applications for various senior technical positions including Senior
Manager, Deputy General Manager, General Manager, and Senior General Manager
on a direct recruitment basis.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 48 vacancies for

Eligibility Criteria |
Candidates must possess the required educational
qualifications and post-qualification experience in the relevant field
(Highways, Roads, Bridges, Tunnels, etc.).
1. Educational Qualification
- For
All Posts: A full-time Degree in Civil Engineering from a
recognized University or Institute.
2. Experience & Age Limit (As on Closing Date)
- Senior
Manager (Technical) - E4:
- Experience:
Minimum 6 years of overall experience in infrastructure sector
projects.
- Age
Limit: Not exceeding 40 years (Check official notice for
specific confirmation).
- Deputy
General Manager (Technical) - E5:
- Experience:
Minimum 9 years of overall experience.
- Age
Limit: Not exceeding 41 years.
- General
Manager (Technical) - E6:
- Experience:
Minimum 13 years of overall experience.
- Age
Limit: Not exceeding 44 years.
- Senior
General Manager (Technical) - E7:
- Experience:
Minimum 16 years of overall experience.
- Age
Limit: Not exceeding 48 years.

Selection Process & Exam Syllabus |
The selection procedure consists of a two-stage process
followed by an interview.
Stage 1: Eligibility Test (Screening)

Objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Awareness (History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Current Affairs).
- Analytical
Ability & Logical Reasoning.
- Quantitative
Aptitude.

/ Verbal Aptitude.
- Exemption:
Applicants with experience of working in NHIDCL for a total period of 5
years or more are exempted from Stage-1.
Stage 2: Specific Written Test (Technical)
Candidates qualifying Stage-1 will take a
descriptive/specialized written exam tailored to the specific grade.

Stage 3: Personal Interview
- Candidates
shortlisted from the written test will be called for an interview to
assess their suitability for the role.
