Vacancies under the Forest Department, Assam Police Radio Organisation
(APRO), Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES), and DGCD & CGHG. The
posts include Forest Guard, Forester Grade-I, Constable (WO/WT), Fireman,
Constable (Grade-III), and others.

Eligibility Criteria |
Candidates must meet the following educational and age
criteria as of 01-01-2026.
1. Educational Qualification
- Forester
Grade-I: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Forest
Guard / Game Watcher: Passed H.S. (10+2) or equivalent.
- AFPF
Constable: Passed HSLC (Class 10) or equivalent.
- Constable
(WO/WT) & Sub-Officer: Passed H.S. (Science) with Physics,
Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM).
- Fireman
/ Emergency Rescuer: Passed H.S. (10+2) in Science Stream.
- Constable
(Grade-III) / Bandman / Bugler: Passed HSLC (Class 10).
- (Note:
For Constable Grade-III, candidates must also possess a Home Guard
Certificate or NCC 'A' Certificate, except Ex-Servicemen).
- Boatman:
Passed HSLC (Class 10) and must be proficient in swimming.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Sub-Officer:
20 to 24 Years.
- Forester
I, Forest Guard, Game Watcher, Constable (Grade-III), Bandman, Bugler:
18 to 40 Years.
- AFPF
Constable, Constable (WO/WT), Fireman, Emergency Rescuer, Boatman: 18
to 25 Years.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST:
5 Years.
- OBC/MOBC:
3 Years.

Selection Process |
The selection methodology will consist of the following
stages:
- Physical
Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running and
Long Jump.
- Male
(Forest): 26 km Walk (4 hours).
- Male
(Police/Others): 3200m Race.
- Female:
16 km Walk (Forest) / 1600m Race (Police).
- Written
Test: OMR-based written exam.
- Viva-Voce
/ Oral Test.
- Skill
Test: For technical posts like Bandman, Boatman, etc.
