Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official
notification for the Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath
Scheme. This recruitment drive invites online applications from unmarried
Indian male and female candidates to join the IAF as an Agniveervayu for
a period of four years.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through
the official portal iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in starting from January
12, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria |
Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions to
apply for the Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027:
1. Age Limit
- Candidates
must be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates
inclusive).
- Maximum
Age: 21 Years at the time of enrolment.
- Marital
Status: Only Unmarried Male and Female candidates are eligible.
2. Educational Qualification
- Science
Subjects:
- Passed
10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics, Physics, and English with
minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR
Passed 3 years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical /
Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science /
Instrumentation / IT) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks
in English.
- OR
Passed 2 years Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects
(Physics & Math) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks
in English.
- Other
Than Science Subjects:
- Passed
10+2 (Intermediate) in any stream with minimum 50% marks in
aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR
Passed 2 years Vocational Course with minimum 50% marks in
aggregate and 50% marks in English.
(Note: If English is not a subject in the Vocational
Course, 50% marks in English in Intermediate/Matriculation is required).

The online test will be objective type (Multiple Choice
Questions) and bilingual (English & Hindi), except for English paper.
