Council (BTC), Kokrajhar has released an official employment notification (Advt.
No. CSB/BTC/09/2026/21) for the recruitment of 157 Forester-I and Forest
Guard (Grade-III) vacancies under the Forest Department, BTC. This is a
great opportunity for 12th pass and graduate candidates seeking government jobs
in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
Interested and eligible candidates who are permanent
residents of the Bodoland Territorial Council area can apply online through the

Eligibility Criteria |
Candidates must meet the following educational, age, and
physical criteria as of 01-01-2026:
1. Residency & Employment Exchange
- Candidates
must be residents of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) area,
Assam.
- Candidates
must possess a valid registration in the Employment Exchange of the
state of Assam.
2. Educational Qualification
- Forester-I:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized
University or equivalent.
- Forest
Guard: Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent
examination passed.
3. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum
Age: 18 Years.
- Maximum
Age: 40 Years.
- Age
Relaxation:
- SC /
ST: 5 Years.
- OBC
/ MOBC: 3 Years.

Selection Process |
The selection methodology will consist of the following
stages:
- Physical
Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (Walking Test).
- Medical
Examination.
- Written
Examination: Subjects will include General English, General Knowledge
(emphasis on BTC area and Assam), Logical Reasoning/Aptitude, and
Arithmetic.
- Viva-Voce
/ Interview.
