PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Tamulpur (Guwahati-781367) has issued
a notice for a Walk-In Interview to prepare a panel of teachers and
staff for the 2025-26 session. These appointments are on a purely
part-time contractual basis to fill clear or anticipated vacancies as
required.

Educational Qualifications & Requirements
|
1. Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs)
·
Core Subjects: Two years' Integrated
Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT OR
a Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject.
·
Subject Combinations:
·
Physics: Physics / Electronics /
Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics.
·
Chemistry: Chemistry /
Bio-Chemistry.
·
Biology: Botany / Zoology / Life
Sciences / Bio Sciences / Genetics / Micro Biology / Bio-Technology / Molecular
Biology / Plant Physiology (provided Botany and Zoology were studied at
Graduation level).
·
Hindi: Hindi or Sanskrit with
Hindi as a subject at Graduation.
·
English: English as a subject at
Graduation.
·
PGT Computer Science: B.E/B.Tech (CS/IT), or
M.Sc (CS)/MCA, or B.Sc (CS)/BCA with a Post Graduate degree in any subject, or
'B'/'C' level from DOEACC with a degree.
·
Common Requirements: B.Ed. or equivalent
degree and proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
2. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) &
Regional Language
|
·
General Requirement: Four years' Integrated
degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT (50% marks) OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned
subjects/combination.
·
Subject Combinations:
·
TGT Maths: Bachelor Degree in
Maths with any two of: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science,
Statistics.
·
TGT Science: Botany, Zoology, and
Chemistry.
·
TGT Social Science: Any two of: History,
Geography, Economics, and Pol. Science (one must be History or Geography).
·
Hindi/Bodo/Assamese: The specific language
must be a subject in all three years of graduation.
·
Professional: B.Ed. and CTET
Paper-II qualification (except for Regional Language teachers where CTET is
not specified in the same section).
3. Primary Teacher (PRT) &
Balvatika
|
·
PRT: Senior Secondary (50%
marks) with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR 4-year B.El.Ed OR
2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Must be CTET Paper-I
qualified.
·
Balvatika: Senior Secondary (50%
marks) with a Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre-school Education /
Early Childhood Education (min. 2 years) OR B.Ed. (Nursery) .
4. Miscellaneous Posts

·
Computer Instructor: B.E/B.Tech (CS), BCA,
MCA, M.Sc (CS/IT), or Graduate/Post-graduate with PGDCA or 'A' level from
DOEACC.
·
Sports Coach
(Basketball/Football): B.P.Ed / B.P.E / N.I.S / Class 12 with Senior National
participation.
·
Yoga Instructor: Graduation with
one-year training in Yoga.
·
Nurse: Regular Degree/Diploma
in Nursing.
·
Art & Craft: 5-year recognized
Diploma in Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art or equivalent degree.
·
Special Educator: Various options
including B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (General) with specific Diplomas
in Special Education recognized by RCI.
·
Taekwondo/Karate: Diploma in the field (1
year), B.P.Ed, or Graduation/Class 12 with a National Certificate in the sport.

Download Form: Candidates must
download the Bio-Data Performa from the school website.
2.
Required Documents: Bring the filled
Bio-Data form with a colored passport-size photo pasted on it.
3.
Verification: Bring original
testimonials (Educational, Caste, Experience, etc.) and one set of self-attested
photocopies.
4.
Multiple Applications: Separate application
forms and sets of documents are required for each post if applying for more
than one.
5.
Reporting: No TA/DA will be
provided for attending the interview.
6.
CTET Note: In the absence of
CTET-qualified candidates, non-CTET candidates may be considered on merit if
otherwise eligible.
